The starter (zucca) was very good, so the meal started well. However, my main dish — pasta carbonara — was disappointing. The plate contained no bacon meat, only fatty pieces. When I politely mentioned this to the server , the owner came and reacted quite defensively instead of addressing the issue. Unfortunately, the experience felt very tourist-oriented rather than quality-focused. I would recommend checking the photos carefully before ordering.
Absolutely amazing place and a perfect way to end our trip to Naples. The food was outstanding — we had paccheri con frutti di mare and frittura di pesce, everything incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. One of the best seafood pastas we’ve had in Naples. What made the evening truly special was the atmosphere. My daughter tried frutti di mare for the first time here — and loved it so much that she almost finished the whole shared plate herself! That says everything about the quality of the food. The chef came out to the dining room, introduced himself, and personally asked if everything was okay — a beautiful, genuine gesture that shows real passion and true Neapolitan hospitality. Warm, authentic, non-touristy trattoria with fantastic food and heart. Highly recommended — we will remember this place for a long time.
We were here for a dinner at 18.30 on a public holiday. It was easy to make a reservation via phone in English. When we were there, the place was totally empty and got crowded only about an hour later. They have two sitting halls and I would recommend the one across the main place, which is calmer and without the kitchen. Staff was very friendly and very polite. Food and wine were also delicious. I would definitely recommend the pasta genovese, a unique meal in napolitean kitchen.It was absolutely perfect here.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. However, there were five of us, and we were told that five different dishes would not be prepared because the kitchen only had three burners. This seemed rather strange, and we ended up ordering two pairs of the same dishes and one different dish
I came here to say that I liked this place but it was a little chaotic. The staff are working extremely hard, it isn’t calming because of this. They are friendly and speak multiple languages, though. The food was okay but lacked depth of flavour. I found it strange that the fried courgette flowers came with no filling, they were sadly tasteless. The wine however, great sized glass and beautiful tasting. It is cheap and cheerful, though.
